Drinking water before and during a meal can also help you reduce your caloric intake, as it helps you to feel more satisfied as you eat. Moreover, many people confuse the sensations of hunger and thirst, so try drinking an 8-ounce glass of water before snacking.

Lift Weights

Weightlifting is a great way to build muscle mass and prevent your metabolism from slowing down, which can be a side effect of weight loss. Hitting the gym three or four times each week is more than enough, and you may want to go less frequently if you’re sore after the first few sessions.
